This places is right around the corner from our son's school, and is the best breakfast ever!!! Inexpensive, abundant, delicious, super friendly, and convenient for us. The eggs are always cooked how we want them, the home fries are incredible, today we are trying the pancakes, and they look really good too! This will be our breakfast date destination, because it's totally worth it. Oh, and the coffee is strong and delicious. Definitely a neighborhood spot that you have to try!

Great little diner for breakfast! Be sure to check it out. My husband and I thought the staff was very friendly. The place is nothing super special and it is small. But they have really affordable prices for energizing and refreshing breakfast choices. He got coffee and I got a mimosa. Pretty good- made with freshly squeezed orange juice, so it was a thicker consistency than I am used to because of the pulp. I enjoyed it though. If you are not a pulp lover than maybe the mimosas won't be for you. We both ordered bagel breakfast sandwiches that had egg, sausage, bacon, and cheddar cheese on them. The bagels were toasted and fresh, the sausage was smooth and light (no disgusting chunks of fat in the patties like you find in some diner's sausage), and the bacon was crispy- not too greasy. The eggs were also light and airy, but cooked well (no runny scrambled eggs! Yay). My husband gave them his stamp pf approval, and he's generally very picky. So that's a big deal! Overall, we will be back. Can't beat coffee, mimosa, and breakfast for two for $15. Oh, and use the yelp check in deal. 10% off your total check. Nice!

Went there during work lunch time around 2 PM and glad to not have been rushed out since the store claims it was closing at 3 PM, usually other businesses would either have their servers turn away and close kitchen or be in a hurry with service and order, but this one actually let us feel welcomed and pretty good American Diner food. I went for Chicken Club with avocado sandwich w/fries and a cup of chili= it was great! Liked the chili, pretty filling with cheese and onions, and I even had one half of the Club sandwich left over for snack later which I was still able to enjoy and didn't need to reheat or anything. My co-worker had a breakfast special and he also enjoyed his meal very much. We would recommend this place to others and return if possible. Closing time does make it more difficult but it is a great place for breakfast/brunch- therefore the hours are perfect for that crowd.

Praises: owner/manager engages customers, good food, great for brunch/breakfast, food prepared quickly, small and intimate venue, and friendly staff. Constructive criticisms (CC's): confusion over who was taking care of us, decor reminds me of Target's section for frames, and paying took a while. This is a local dive for breakfast; expect fast and friendly service and a hometown experience.

Barely could find it as the sign only shows cafe. The ambiance is 70s 80s, employees great, conversational. The customers are familiar, the employees know their order when they sit down, conversation between them is sarcastic, just like I like it. Great local joint.

Love this place. My favorite is the breakfast steak. But everything is fantastic. Delicious blueberry muffins. Yummy mimosas. Fresh freshly squeezed orange juice. Gritty buttery grits .

Very average greasy spoon local joint in Cooper City. The staff are quite friendly, and orders seem to come up quickly. I only had breakfast there, so keep that in mind while reading this review. The main drawbacks are the lack of a "specialty" or signature flavor which is what i specifically look for when visiting these spots. The food I had tasted no different than what I could whip up at home and while that does technically qualify as "home cooking", it still just lacks that punch. I am not in anyway saying the food is bad at all, merely that it is best described as a half notch above mediocre, meaning 3 stars all day. I thought it was a little weird that while the serve breakfast all day, that breakfast orders after 11:30am are an additional 95 cents, but at the same time, the food here is priced well. You can get a decent plate here for a decent price, but if you're looking for dishes with loads of personality, this isn't the spot.

This has been my breakfast place since I was about 17. Always liked it. I'm the type to order a buffalo chicken sandwich at 6 am when I'm still drunk and awake from partying. So yes, the buffalo chicken sandwich is very tasty. Anyways, since now I'm 22 and grown, I order their normal breakfast. I love their omelets. I usually get it florentine style but today I had the veggie, my new favorite! Wow! Boyfriend got the western (peppers and ham) which is also tasty. Sometimes I can't help myself to order their hash brown patties. Mmmmm. Honestly, it's a local spot. Give a family business a try. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because of - the parking sucks and the place is a little too small for the busier times of the day. Lacks a little charm I guess.

Good food. Fast service. Cheap prices. Those three things always appeal to me especially because it's close to my home. I ordered the french toast which was made with challah bread. Everyone else's food looked good. The waitress was on point, she made sure we enjoyed our meal. The prices were cheaply priced, everyone's meal was under $6. Now I know why this place was crowded by the time I left breakfast with my family.

Affordable, friendly staff, good portions, old era feel. Great for breakfast. The potatoes are great, the coffee is hot, and the waitresses are full of "darlins". Reminds me of back home in Louisiana.

Walked in here this Sunday morning. Was greeted by multiple friendly employees. Service ended up being quite exceptional! The food was really good and you gets lots for your dollar. I would definitely recommend and come again

This place is dirty, dingy and the food is just bad. I could have made it better myself. Complete waste of time and money. Any restaurant with a microwave in plain view can't be good. Took forever to get our food and service was just alright. There are plenty of other great places to go.

This local eatery is a wonderful business with a fantastic reputation for great service and even better food. I love the variety of options on the menu, and the pricing is very fair. This has become a weekly family favorite for grabbing a quick breakfast, and I'm impressed with the consistency of the food and service. Fantastic quality and quantity for the price!

Not sure why others thought this place was so great. We ordered two bagels and a coffee to go. One bagel was dry (stale) and they put almost no cream cheese on them. I also had to rip a burnt part off the stale one. The coffee was so bad that my husband took one sip and left it on the counter. I really wanted to like this place but I would have been a lot happier going to DD across the parking lot!

We had a terrible breakfast here. Unfortunately the owner uses subpar ingredients. The pancakes tasted like a very cheap box mix. Potatoes were like cardboard. The eggs were clearly from a carton. The turkey bacon looked disgusting. All of our family members were very dissatisfied. If this cafe wants to stay in business, then the owner must use better quality ingredients.

Really great local restaurant had the pastrami omelet and it was really good. Sausage patties were great and both my wife and son enjoyed their meals too. We will be back!

Great little Breakfast and Lunch place tucked into a plaza on the corner of Nob Hill and Griffin. Have had two breakfasts here with my husband. The Veggie omelette is excellent. On the suggestion of our waitress, my husband ordered the Sausage with his 2 egg breakfast- the best! Priced reasonably, friendly service. A new local favorite!

I came in on a Saturday with my 4 yr old son for his bday breakfast to get him some pancakes (his favorite!). Upon arriving, there was a line out the door. There was no room for us to even squeeze by to let someone know we want to wait for a table. Luckily a lady came out almost right away asking people how big their parties were. We were able to get seated right away. Awesome! After being sat, it took us about 7 min to be greeted even though our waitress walked by us at least a dozen times (we didn't even have a menu to look at). So my son and I used our resources wisely and started building a jelly pyramid to pass the time. Our server finally came to take our drink order and asked if we needed a menu...yes that'd be fantastic! Looking at the menu I was pleasantly surprised at the prices. I ordered the eggs Benedict with grits as my side option. My son had the silver dollar pancakes with chocolate chips (I love that they offer chocolate chips as it was always my favorite when I was a kid) and a side of sausage (so I could eat it). When the food arrived, my eggs Benedict wasn't very hot. It was lukewarm at best. My grits, steaming hot. Such a pet peeve of mine! The kitchen needs to have better timing on the food. I would have gladly taken my eggs Benedict as soon as its ready instead of sitting in the window waiting for them to slop the grits on my plate. My son seemed to like his pancakes a lot...didn't even ask for syrup on them as he usually prefers. About 5 seconds after our food was dropped, a lady asked how everything was. (Pretty sure she was a manager/owner?) Anyways, I asked her for a couple more butters and some salt and pepper. She immediately brought me butters but no salt/pepper. Arg! Oh well... I went to eat the sausage off my sons plate and it tasted delicious but he only allowed me one bite before he gave me a sour look that threatened a tantrum if I didn't put that sausage down right away. *sigh*. Although the food (aside from the temperature) was very good, it sent my boy in the bathroom twice in the hour we were there. And nothing solid was produced either. Good thing we were sat right by the bathrooms! 10 minutes after we finished our meals, we were still waiting for our server...and the check. When she finally did arrive, it was to put salt and peppers in the caddy on our table that was found on another table next to us. Really?? I needed those 20 min ago dang it! Anyways we finally got our check. $18, not bad. Went up to the register to pay and from there hurried home to use the restroom myself.

Went here for the first time with the wife and 11 month babe. We decided the special of zucchini nut bread French toast wast too irresistible. The space is a little cramped, but not unbearable. Great for a quick morning meal.

Very surprised! Friendly and good service. Ordered the veggie omelet and I enjoyed it very much. Coffee was always topped off. Definitely my new breakfast spot.
